Eisen’in was the son and pupil of Chikanobu Kanō. Eisen’in carried on the tradition of Kanō school painters being the official painters of the shogunate. This gallery shows twelve of Eisen’in’s flower and (or) bird paintings. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
